Her experience of working with directors and senior executives during start-up, restructures and mergers enables her to provide pragmatic, commercial HR solutions, particularly to SMEs without an established internal HR resource.
A Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Kathryn has managed complex disciplinary and grievance situations as well as absence, capability and performance issues and has designed and delivered organisational training programmes.
Kathryn is also a British Psychological Society member registered to use occupational and ability psychometric testing.
Kathryn’s approach is down to earth and practical, getting to know you and your business before offering support, advice and coaching to achieve your people goals.
Kathryn has been fabulous to work with on a recent project. She’s a professional, with tons of knowledge about her area of expertise, not only that, she’s a true people person and great to work with. Highly recommended.
On meeting Kathryn I found her to be very easy to talk to and felt she really understood our business. The work Kathryn provided for us was excellent, we feel really pleased to have her on board and more confident that, should we encounter any problems within our business, Kathryn will be on hand to guide us through. Would highly recommend.
Kathryn is supportive, pragmatic and always able to diffuse difficult situations whilst remaining human! Anyone working with her will benefit from these skills and her very calming (and lovely) personality too.
I had an HR query a few weeks ago, and Kathryn was recommended to me by a reliable friend. My very first impressions were that she has a caring nature, she was interested immediately in finding out what was going on – what was the exact situation? She listened calmly and patiently, proving reassurance and professionalism, mixed with employment law advice.
Thankfully, the situation improved with a good outcome achieved. I am very grateful to Kathryn for taking time out to explain in a practical, no-jargon way. I would recommend her to others as her quality approach to HR issues was evident in our conversations.
Being a small business I always worried about HR issues and shied away from employing any staff. I then met Kathryn and she made it less daunting. She gave me great advice that I could implement and provided me with feedback on my current terms. I now have peace of mind that I have the relevant documents in place to protect myself and my business. I would highly recommend Kathryn and I shall be using her services in the future as my business grows.
Kathryn is wonderful to work with. She is incredibly professional, yet personable, and speaks in a language everyone can understand! She can take the heat out of any situation with calm, concise, logical advice. She has previously helped me to recruit (I say helped – she pretty much did it all once I knew what type of person I wanted) and has also helped me out with performance and absentee issues. It’s so reassuring to know that, as a small business owner, I’m operating on the right side of the law!
Kathryn is an accomplished HR professional. I have always found that she brings equal measures of pragmatism, clear perspective and energy to even the most challenging situations.
I “met” Kathryn initially via social media and was immediately impressed by her LinkedIn posts and the constant value she gave to her connections. It was around the same time that I was transitioning away from a retainer with another HR company. I needed something far more bespoke and customised, but their pricing wasn’t in line with my budget, sadly, and I needed to look elsewhere.I had a conversation with Kathryn about what my business needed from a HR consultant and my mind was immediately put at ease. We agreed a plan to move forward together and had a super productive face-to-face meeting where I pretty much had a series of quick-fire questions with me going “and what would I do in this situation? And what about this? But what if that then happens?”. Kathryn was ever-patient and gave me answers without any jargon, and also drew on her wider experience to make her advice relevant to both what I needed right now, but also what I might need to know in the future too.Since that meeting, I continue to turn to Kathryn for HR guidance. Knowing that she’s available to support my business as/when I need it gives me peace of mind. I don’t want to be paying for a retainer that doesn’t fit my needs like I did before. Instead, I know that Kathryn is there to provide impartial and practical support when I need it (like calculating holiday allowance for part-time employees that I can’t figure out on the gov.uk website!).
Kathryn was initially recommended by a colleague. She has advised us on several matters, has taken a genuine interest in our charity and most importantly, she has protected the organisation during difficult times. She is already in my referral list!
As a growing business, it’s important to keep our HR documentation up to date. I contacted Kathryn and asked for her help with this. After asking a few questions Kathryn understood my requirements and went to work on creating the required documents. These were delivered within a couple of days. Working with Kathryn is easy, meaning HR isn’t something I have to worry about.
Fantastic service, any time of day Kathryn was there to deal with any questions or concerns. She was recommended to me and I can see why! Cannot rate this person enough.
Kathryn has provided fantastic help to our business, she is attentive, prompt, friendly and extremely professional. I would recommend face2faceHR to anyone seeking HR services and advice.
Kathryn has been incredible since day one. Our company is very demanding and she always delivers with whatever is thrown at her. We couldn’t recommend her enough as she is professional, reliable and very personable.
Delighted with the phenomenal value for money. Kathryn is extremely knowledgeable and understands our particular needs as a small business. We would thoroughly recommend her.
I cannot stress enough the value of this service to us. face2face have taken a huge piece of work off my desk, done it to a far higher standard than I would have with a huge level of experience and expertise and charged a very reasonable rate. The confidence I have in the robustness of my HR has gone right up and I can concentrate on growing my business knowing I have a healthy HR service in place. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them. It’s like employing a hugely experienced head of HR, but on timeshare. The level of customisation and research to the work made me feel like they really knew my business and what we do.
Kathryn has been brilliant. Always responds punctually to emails and advised me where necessary. Thoroughly efficient. Would highly recommend her.
Kathryn is a dedicated and hard-working HR professional. She provides a wonderful service and is always there to support you when needed and offers excellent advice. I recommend Kathryn highly.
We couldn’t recommend face2faceHR Nottingham highly enough! Excellent level of service and completely takes care of all of our HR needs. Any growing business needs a HR department but more often than not can’t justify the expense… face2faceHR is the ideal solution.
Successful businesses need more than just the vision of the founding entrepreneur. They are built on sound and efficient systems, which in turn require a team of dedicated and motivated people to run those systems. This can be a challenge for any business owner, and it took me too long to recognise that my staff do not think or work in the same way I do. I did not fully appreciate the support I needed in managing a team, not just for me but for my people also. Human Resources can be a complex topic and vital to the ongoing success of any business. I am extremely pleased to have been introduced to Kathryn Rodgers. Kathryn’s warm and friendly approach when engaging with people has brought real value to my business. With an excellent level of knowledge and experience in Human Resources, it has been easy for me to speak openly about how I can engage better with my people, but most importantly how I can get the best from them in order to achieve our goals. Kathryn has become a great asset to my business, picking up the important (and legal) aspects of employment where I simply do not have the right level of knowledge. This is comforting for both myself and will be for my staff. I would highly recommend Kathryn’s service to any small to medium size business who want to ensure their employees are looked after as well as motivated to achieve.
A joy to work with – always so helpful and responds with great advice quickly whenever needed!
I would recommend Kathryn Rodgers to any business looking for friendly professional HR advice. 2020 has been incredibly challenging for employers but I can say from personal experience that Kathryn has been a huge asset to our business. She is attentive, highly knowledgeable and a friendly voice when HR support is required. For anyone requiring HR support in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and surrounding areas I would highly recommend.
We’ve used Kathryn Rodgers for the last 7 months. She has been nothing short of fantastic with very pragmatic advice tailored to the size of our business. She is very affordable, fair and transparent with charges and her advise has saved us much more than she has charged us. Fully recommend her services to any SME size business looking for more relatable HR advice.
