Sue Pardy

face2faceHR Milton Keynes is managed by Sue Pardy, a highly competent and knowledgeable HR consultant with over 20 years’ experience gained in both public and private sectors across a wide range of industries including retail, insurance, financial services, professional services, education, charities and SMEs.

Sue is a qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and her advice has assisted managers, directors and owners in dealing with many complex employee relations issues such as disciplinary & grievances, absence, capability and performance issues.

Sue has managed restructures, redundancies, TUPE transfers (both in and out), resourcing projects, harmonisation of terms and conditions and written handbooks and policies, and has also developed and delivered training courses for managers on employee-related topics.

Sue’s clients appreciate her ability to adapt quickly to constantly changing business situations and priorities and her practical, commercial approach to HR. Sue has a proven ability to build credibility and strong working relationships quickly and believes these skillsets, together with an in-depth understanding of a client’s business, are key to finding pragmatic and tailored solutions.

Sue is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider which has given her the practical skills to spot the signs of mental illness and the confidence to step in and support employees in the workplace who may need assistance.

Sue is a consummate professional. She is a great problem solver. She is always enthusiastic and empathetic and has a friendly fun demeanour. She always offered expert, useful advice to her non-HR colleagues in ways that make her thinking seem immediately obvious and sensible. I have enjoyed working with Sue in both RACQ and Suncorp where she demonstrated excellence and was duly rewarded with promotions and accompanying responsibilities. There are some people you come across at work who inspire confidence. That would be Sue.

Nick Smith, Senior Learning and Development Business Partner at TechnologyOne

Sue provided services for Ether Solutions concerning an HR matter. Sue was flexible in terms of making arrangements and having conversations outside of core work hours. She delivered a personal service in a very competent manner and was able to explain the HR aspects in the context of Ether Solutions

David Martin / Ether Solutions

Working with Sue Pardy at face2faceHR has been one of my more enjoyable tasks. Her approach is both friendly and professional and she always gives me more to think about. Like many small employers, I do not have a great deal of HR skill, so I needed guidance to produce correct employment documents for our staff. I know that I can always call on Sue for really good clear advice and would happily recommend her services.

Janet Hawkins, Black hawk Group Ltd

Contacted Sue to resolve issues with staff member on probation. I received supportive, professional advice which enabled me to sort the issue. Thoroughly recommend.

It was clear from the first time I met Sue that she was a very thorough and professional person to work with, and this combined with her exceptional people skills meant I knew we would work well together – this was essential when dealing with over 130 direct reports.

Sue’s attention to detail and risk-conscious nature enabled me to pursue all matters from inception to conclusion with confidence. Never once did I doubt Sue’s judgement, and all results reflected this.

Samuel Clayton, Driver Resource Manager, autoXP

Sue assisted with my issue in a knowledgeable and professional manner, giving me options to consider. On a personal level, she was also empathetic and kind during a stressful time for me. Thank you Sue.

Sarah Carter

Sue is great to work with – she is fast to respond, hugely knowledgeable and has a pragmatic approach. She really understands the pressures of an SME and her calm, real-world perspective is exactly what’s required. It is great having access to an expert in the field of HR who understands our business. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Lisa Nicolle, Purple Seven

Sue has been a huge help at a difficult time for us, helping us to successfully navigate a potentially tricky situation with the right balance of sensitivity and formality. She is now our go-to HR consultant. Highly recommended.

Paul Brown

As a small business owner I really welcomed the way in which Sue worked, I know we’ll work with her again and again.  Sue offers exactly what her business is called … “face2faceHR”.

After our initial emails we sat down at a table, I took my necessary paperwork and said help! I was given ample time to talk through my business and Sue quickly identified the HR issues requiring my attention.  Plus, what was even better … she spoke my language, making sure I was aware of what HR technical jargon meant to me and my business.  I commissioned Sue to produce a Contract for Services which we now use as the backbone of our relationship with the self-employed entities we work with.

Sue’s involvement has given me confidence that we operate in a legally sound way, she’s added great value to the business and it is comforting to know she’s right there if we need her going forward. Thanks Sue, we wouldn’t be where we are without you.

Carrie, CO Photography + Design

The experience that Sue can bring to a wide range of businesses will always ensure HR excellence. I would recommend Sue without reservation and enjoyed working with her at Aviva.

Tracey Skingle, Director of HR at The Coopers Company + Coborn School

Adrian Knight, Knight Franchises Ltd

Sue at face2faceHR has been a complete diamond helping us sort out contracts for new staff, how to calculate part-time staff holidays, a staff handbook and guide us through the hiring and firing process! Sue is friendly, easy to talk to and very professional, her advice and knowledge has put my mind at ease with the dreaded HR and made it a lot less dreaded. Working with Sue has saved me a lot of time so I can focus on the business.

Lavinia Drake
