Sue is a qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and her advice has assisted managers, directors and owners in dealing with many complex employee relations issues such as disciplinary & grievances, absence, capability and performance issues.

Sue has managed restructures, redundancies, TUPE transfers (both in and out), resourcing projects, harmonisation of terms and conditions and written handbooks and policies, and has also developed and delivered training courses for managers on employee-related topics.

Sue’s clients appreciate her ability to adapt quickly to constantly changing business situations and priorities and her practical, commercial approach to HR. Sue has a proven ability to build credibility and strong working relationships quickly and believes these skillsets, together with an in-depth understanding of a client’s business, are key to finding pragmatic and tailored solutions.

Sue is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider which has given her the practical skills to spot the signs of mental illness and the confidence to step in and support employees in the workplace who may need assistance.

She always offered expert, useful advice to her non-HR colleagues in ways that make her thinking seem immediately obvious and sensible.
