face2faceHR Nottingham is managed by Kathryn Rodgers, an accomplished HR consultant with over 15 years’ experience gained in the public, private and not for profit sectors.

Kathryn has worked with employers across a range of industries including manufacturing, financial services and distribution. Her experience of working with directors and senior executives during start-up, restructures and mergers enables her to provide pragmatic, commercial HR solutions, particularly to SMEs without an established internal HR resource.

A Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Kathryn has managed complex disciplinary and grievance situations as well as absence, capability and performance issues and has designed and delivered organisational training programmes.

Kathryn is also a British Psychological Society member registered to use occupational and ability psychometric testing.

Kathryn’s approach is down to earth and practical, getting to know you and your business before offering support, advice and coaching to achieve your people goals.

Kathryn has been fabulous to work with on a recent project. She’s a professional, with tons of knowledge about her area of expertise, not only that, she’s a true people person and great to work with. Highly recommended.

James Blake – Belper Masonic Hall

On meeting Kathryn I found her to be very easy to talk to and felt she really understood our business. The work Kathryn provided for us was excellent, we feel really pleased to have her on board and more confident that, should we encounter any problems within our business, Kathryn will be on hand to guide us through. Would highly recommend.

Tina Richardson – Happy Days Group Care

Kathryn is supportive, pragmatic and always able to diffuse difficult situations whilst remaining human! Anyone working with her will benefit from these skills and her very calming (and lovely) personality too.

Lalita Hedges – Business Development Manager

I had an HR query a few weeks ago, and Kathryn was recommended to me by a reliable friend. My very first impressions were that she has a caring nature, she was interested immediately in finding out what was going on – what was the exact situation? She listened calmly and patiently, proving reassurance and professionalism, mixed with employment law advice.

Thankfully, the situation improved with a good outcome achieved. I am very grateful to Kathryn for taking time out to explain in a practical, no-jargon way. I would recommend her to others as her quality approach to HR issues was evident in our conversations.

Education Manager

Being a small business I always worried about HR issues and shied away from employing any staff. I then met Kathryn and she made it less daunting. She gave me great advice that I could implement and provided me with feedback on my current terms. I now have peace of mind that I have the relevant documents in place to protect myself and my business. I would highly recommend Kathryn and I shall be using her services in the future as my business grows.

Carrie Boughtwood – APT Legal

Kathryn is wonderful to work with. She is incredibly professional, yet personable, and speaks in a language everyone can understand! She can take the heat out of any situation with calm, concise, logical advice. She has previously helped me to recruit (I say helped – she pretty much did it all once I knew what type of person I wanted) and has also helped me out with performance and absentee issues. It’s so reassuring to know that, as a small business owner, I’m operating on the right side of the law!

Jayne Harris, Director

Kathryn is an accomplished HR professional. I have always found that she brings equal measures of pragmatism, clear perspective and energy to even the most challenging situations.

Andy Wilson, Managing Director

I “met” Kathryn initially via social media and was immediately impressed by her LinkedIn posts and the constant value she gave to her connections. It was around the same time that I was transitioning away from a retainer with another HR company. I needed something far more bespoke and customised, but their pricing wasn’t in line with my budget, sadly, and I needed to look elsewhere.I had a conversation with Kathryn about what my business needed from a HR consultant and my mind was immediately put at ease. We agreed a plan to move forward together and had a super productive face-to-face meeting where I pretty much had a series of quick-fire questions with me going “and what would I do in this situation? And what about this? But what if that then happens?”. Kathryn was ever-patient and gave me answers without any jargon, and also drew on her wider experience to make her advice relevant to both what I needed right now, but also what I might need to know in the future too.Since that meeting, I continue to turn to Kathryn for HR guidance. Knowing that she’s available to support my business as/when I need it gives me peace of mind. I don’t want to be paying for a retainer that doesn’t fit my needs like I did before. Instead, I know that Kathryn is there to provide impartial and practical support when I need it (like calculating holiday allowance for part-time employees that I can’t figure out on the gov.uk website!).

Victoria Tretis, MY VA Rocks

Kathryn was initially recommended by a colleague. She has advised us on several matters, has taken a genuine interest in our charity and most importantly, she has protected the organisation during difficult times. She is already in my referral list!

Parvez Bhatty, Leicester Children’s Holidays

As a growing business, it’s important to keep our HR documentation up to date. I contacted Kathryn and asked for her help with this. After asking a few questions Kathryn understood my requirements and went to work on creating the required documents. These were delivered within a couple of days. Working with Kathryn is easy, meaning HR isn’t something I have to worry about.

Claudine Jackson, Trent Wills and Estates

Fantastic service, any time of day Kathryn was there to deal with any questions or concerns. She was recommended to me and I can see why! Cannot rate this person enough.

Freya Haseldine, Advanced Healthcare Products

Kathryn has provided fantastic help to our business, she is attentive, prompt, friendly and extremely professional. I would recommend face2faceHR to anyone seeking HR services and advice.

Richard Singleton, ROAR

Kathryn has been incredible since day one. Our company is very demanding and she always delivers with whatever is thrown at her. We couldn’t recommend her enough as she is professional, reliable and very personable.

Trent Peek, CCM Group

Delighted with the phenomenal value for money. Kathryn is extremely knowledgeable and understands our particular needs as a small business. We would thoroughly recommend her.

Jamie Wyatt, Tritilty

I cannot stress enough the value of this service to us. face2face have taken a huge piece of work off my desk, done it to a far higher standard than I would have with a huge level of experience and expertise and charged a very reasonable rate. The confidence I have in the robustness of my HR has gone right up and I can concentrate on growing my business knowing I have a healthy HR service in place. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them. It’s like employing a hugely experienced head of HR, but on timeshare. The level of customisation and research to the work made me feel like they really knew my business and what we do.

Simon Reay, Rubixx Solutions

Kathryn has been brilliant. Always responds punctually to emails and advised me where necessary. Thoroughly efficient. Would highly recommend her.

Allison Cundell, Cut n Curl
