Consider the physical safety of homeworkers who meet with clients, suppliers and colleagues, it maybe that in person meetings should take place in the office or in public places #homeworking #healthandsafety #HRtip

Encourage your homeworker to ask for any #healthandsafety equipment they might need to make #homeworking safe for them #HRtip

Putting off dealing with poor #performance only delays the inevitable and it may get worse more quickly with homeworkers as you are not there all the time so don’t avoid addressing issues #homeworking #HRtip

Don’t avoid dealing with poor #performance just because the person is #homeworking it’s just as important to address it early and prevent it getting worse #HRtip

Employees who are not office-based may feel more inhibited asking for help, or feel it is more intrusive, so make sure they know who to go to for which queries and know that no question is too small #performance #homeworking #HRtip
