As a fast paced Recruitment business owner my priorities are to meet my clients & candidates needs swiftly & successfully.
I requested Helen Christie’s assistance from face2faceHR as I have worked with her for 10 years+ as a HR professional. Helen provides superb advice on HR policies and in particular for me, contracts & legislation. I feel confident in the knowledge that she is only a phone call away when her advice & support are needed.
Helen is more than just a HR professional; she took the time to really understand my business in depth.
Helen has an outstanding understanding of the recruitment process together with a solid generalist background. All in all a pleasure to work with…!
I first met Helen over a brew at Burnley FC to discuss my options of employment growth and how best to approach it. With my lack of knowledge in this area Helen soon made me feel at ease and gave me an insight in to what I should do next. On taking on my first employee back in September 2016 Helen has supported me and kept me at the forefront of employment law. Without Helen and the flexibility and support she provides I would be lost in the HR world and would probably be struggling along with just myself behind the wheel. I would highly recommend Helen to anyone looking for support in HR.
Helen has proven herself to be a valuable asset to us, offering strong people skills and an ability to implement a structure to complement our business model. She transformed and streamlined our HR systems and introduced effective HR policies and procedures that have made us more organised and consistent. Her extensive knowledge and no nonsense approach was a refreshing change, and her open door policy was key to increasing staff morale and raising productivity.
I look forward to working with Helen in her new capacity as an HR Consultant, secure in the knowledge that she will continue to support and improve our business.
Helen managed to grasp what problems there were using a mixture of empathy and practicality from a legal HR perspective and followed our conversation with a clear and concise written summary of the issues discussed and a set of likely positive and negative outcomes from each possible course of action. Having someone that was “on my side” and the clarity of Helen’s assessment removed a sizeable weight off my shoulders.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Helen to any company owner wanting HR advice not only to solve any ad hoc issues but also to help implement HR policies, documents and procedures that comply with current legislation.
